How I Acquired 50,000 Instagram Followers in 7 Months (And How Much Money I Make From Instagram)

When I started Organized Finance in January of this year, I wanted to share my financial goals/journey and find a like-minded community to support and be inspired by! What I did NOT expect was gaining 50k followers in 7 months and making actual money off of Instagram.

Every time I do a Q&A on my Insta stories, I get a TON of questions about the logistics of Organized Finance! So in this post I will be answering all the questions and giving you all the details.

My Expectations

When I started Organized Finance, I wrote down these goals for the account:

1. By end-2022: 2k followers on @organized.finance.
2. By mid-2023: 15k followers on @organized.finance.
3. By mid-2024: Will have earned $10k through @organized.finance.
4. By mid-late 2025: I will be earning $10k a year through @organized.finance (that’s $833/month).

It’s crazy to me that I’ve already hit #1 and #2, and it’s very possible that I’ll hit #3 and #4 in the next few months!
