How Much Money Medium’s Import Feature Has Made Me
I don’t consider Medium one of my primary platforms for content creation, so I never create original content for it. Instead, I use Medium’s import feature to import existing posts on the Organized Finance blog to Medium.
For context, I post two blog posts per week to the Organized Finance blog. Each blog post takes me about 1 hour to write, edit, create graphics for, and optimize for SEO. However, the actual act of importing a blog post into Medium takes me less than a minute!
I also occasionally submit one of these imported posts to a Medium publication (such as this one).
How much money I make from importing blog posts to Medium
In January of 2023, I started posting to the Organized Finance blog (and reposting to Medium) more regularly (2x/week). Since then, I’ve made $38.05 from the Medium Partner Program:
Considering I don’t write any of these posts specifically for Medium, and considering how easy it is to import a post into Medium, I consider this a nice “free money” bonus to the income I make from website ads already.
